Notes: As Oak Island, NC, is south-facing, the sun sets into the sea at certain times of the year there (like it does on the west coast.) I was standing on the beach watching this happen right at the tail end of shrimping season when I saw this boat heading back to port after a long day of hard work. I drove over to the dock early the next morning and bought fresh shrimp, straight off the boat— nothing tastes better.
