Notes: At 60 years old, Mike Muir of the mighty Suicidal Tendencies is still a totally bonkers front man. I’ve seen him and his band almost destroy stages on two different cruise ships (“destroy” in the literal sense, as in the stage was about to collapse). Here’s Cyco Miko crowd surfing at sunset on the main deck of the Megacruise we did together in 2019– I never thought when I was a 15 year old kid listening to “Institutionalized” blaring out of a boombox at a sketchy backyard skate ramp that one day my band would be playing a freaking cruise ship with Suicidal Tendencies.
