Notes: We were on tour with the mighty C.O.C. and Pepper told me James Hetfield was coming out to the show in Oakland, California. “Cool beans,” I said, “I love that dude!” That day I heard what sounded like an extra guitar during C.O.C.’s soundcheck, so I walked to the stage and there was James running through “Seven Days” with them— he played it with them during the show later, too. It was a great evening in Oakland! Rest in peace, Reed Mullin— I miss hearing you beat the drums!
