Notes: This is my Italian sister, the gorgeous and amazingly talented Cristina Scabbia of goth metallers Lacuna Coil. I’ve known her since 2004 when our bands toured together on Ozzfest. The members of Lacuna Coil are some of my favorite people in the world, bar none, and whenever I am in Milan they always take very good care of me. It was freezing cold on this night, but Cristina and I walked through her city for hours as she showed me the sights— what better person to stroll the Italian night with than the dark queen of Milan of herself? Cristina is a truly beautiful person, both inside and out, and I was honored when she and Lacuna Coil asked me to sing on their latest single, “Hosting the Shadow.” Love ya, sis— Ciao Bella!!!
